Okay so I am probably going to be really bad at this but it's not like it will matter that much. Sorry if it is really boring.

Number one:
A memory that I remember is when the Ostlers stayed at our house for a year. I remember getting so mad because there was always a lot of people at our house. It was always noisy and everyone complaining about something. I also remember have a lot of fun times with them. More fun then bad. Like going sledding with Sam and Sarah. I had so much fun having snowball fights and making a huge snowman. I also loved going in the hut tub with them and making a "whirlpool" with them. And when they left it was way to quite and we still had huge meals like they were still there ready to eat it all.
Number two:
Another memories is going to the cabin in the winter. That is one of my favorite memories. When I think of that I don't just think of one particular time. I think off all the times I can remember. I remember going with Hannah a few years ago and me being so rude and going ahead with Lizzy and leaving Hannah behind with mom and dad. Then I remember having to go to the bathroom really really bad. And my hat keep falling down over my eyes and I couldn't see and it was all dark and everything was horrible. Then we are almost to the colored roof cabin and Spencer comes by telling us that we are almost there and he is going to get Hannah's sled. i was so mad that he didn't take mine when I was having such a bad time. But I i am glad that he didn't. then getting there I ran in with clothes on and every thing string still attached to waist getting snow everywhere and running to the bathroom. That is the best I have ever felt! I also remember getting there one time and it being so cold that me and Lizzy bad a little space around the fire and eating soup that mom had made. I love going sledding at the cabin too. I remember when we went up there with Jeff for one of the first times and him jumping on the sled and the jumping in the snow and getting buried. I was so amazed and loved doing that. Every year I try and I haven't ever been able to do it since.
wow that one was long. Number three:
Christmas morning. That is the best. I LOVE everything about it. I sleep in the same room as Lizzy and we stay up half the night talking then waking up at 5:30 and (when we were little) her daring me to going down stairs and take a peek at the presents. then running back up and telling Lizzy about the huge red ball and the tea set. She opens the door and Spencer is at the top of the stairs making sure that we don't go down again. saying What are you doing you can't go look at your presents!! Then Lizzy comes back in and shuts the door and all sad. i love waking up and being so happy that we get all these things for no reason! It is the best.
Number four:
I love vacations. I love them because it is usually something that you haven't ever done before. I love going new places and doing new things. My favorite ones are Florida, D.C., New York and of course the cabin. Everyone of the cabin ones. Florida was a lot of fun just going to amusement parks and stuff. i love D.C. and going to memorials and museums. I can't wait to go to Ecuador with Miriam. It will be a blast.
Number five:
Spending time with all of the nieces and nephews. I love them all so much and going to Larissa's, Caroline's, and Kanien's so i can go and play with them. I love playing tag with Owen and Hide and go seek with Marcella. I think Larissa needs to come out here and bring her kids so I can play with them more too.
Number six:
I love Nana's parties. they are always so much fun! I love going there and seeing everyone and getting caught up on everything. I love dressing up for the Halloween and the Auction that we do. I love Christmas and the white elephant and playing games. I really like the stories that Nana picks out they are always so good. Hearing uncle Stewart sing and uncle David play his trombone was one of my favorite years too. I can't wait for this year. I am sure that it will be a ton of fun.

Kristin those were good memories/facts. I wish I could bring my kids out so you could play with them more. They were so sad this summer when you didn't come. I really hope you might be able to come this summer. Have up at the cabin this winter! Think of us when you're sledding and skiing.
And I love the top of the stairs Christmas morning memories too. I remember one year Greg, Jon, Caroline and I were all on the stairs looking at a clock we'd plugged into the hallway, watching and waiting for it to turn to 6:00 a.m.
That was fun to read all your memories. Cross-country skiing can be really fun but also really stressful when it is cold, snowing hard, or you're trying to teach someone else. I remember when I first took Jeff he hated it, but it was because it was dark when we skied in. Now we both really like it!
Those were all good memories! I love all of that stuff, and It really makes me want to go to the cabin! Your post made me realize all of the way cool amazing things we always do every year.
