First Camping Trip of the Year!

This weekend we all went camping, me, mom, dad, jon, kanien, marcella, miriam, and chris. It was a ton of fun and i can't wait till we go again. We went to Capital Reef National Park which was a lot of fun. We did some really fun hikes. Here are a few pictures of the hikes we did. My favorite was the first hike we did. I can't remember the name but it was a ton of fun. It was only 2.5 miles and really easy. This was the one that is right by the campsites and you go up to the top of the mountain and look over the edge. I love being at the top. It was so windy and you could lean against the wind and stuff. The best is when we were looking over the edge and i was going to spit off of it and i spit and the wind just blew it right back up into the air. I was laughing so hard but i guess you all knew that so its not that cool to you but i loved. Well i am way glad that we went! Thanks dad for taking us! Here are just a few pictures of the trip.

This is at the top of the first hike we went on.
Our campsite from half way up the mountain.

We found this lizard on a rock. It was pretty cool!
Hiking at sulfur creek.
One of the water falls at sulfur creek.
Mim and Chris actually crawled under the rocks.
Here we all are right before we started sulfur creek.
Here is the top of that one mountain looking off the cliff.
When you are actually there you get the biggest jibbers!!
Our last morning there Kanien, Miriam, and Mom all
stretched out those sore muscles!
Marcella joined them!

Looks like it was a great trip. Those are some great pictures too. I am glad that when you spit it did not come back into your face.

That first hike was Cohab Canyon. It is a canyon where the Mormon polygamists would hide from the federal sgents.

Sulphur Creek is such a great hike. It's one of my favorites. Way to go Kanien for being a pregnant hiker. I'm glad everyone got to enjoy beautiful southern Utah.
