Well since school has started, Laurissa and her kids have gone home, dad went to Michigan, and Lizzy and mom are busy doing other things I have been lonely. I don't have anyone to play with or anyone to tell me what to do. Sometimes being the youngest has its let downs. Even though i got to go to Ecuador and I get lots of things that you guys didn't get I do get lonely having only one sibling at home who is gone a lot or doing homework, dad is gone and mom is helping everyone else, so I do get lonely being the only one home. So since I don't have enough "wheel-power" to do something productive all I do is sit at home and eat. Well I am running out of bread sticks to eat so I need some ideas of what I could do in my spare time. So i was thinking if you all could suggest at least one thing that I could start to do in my spare time that would be wonderful. Here are a few pictures of when we went to the cabin. I finally got my camera back! Thanks so much! Sorry it really isn't that bad but i just need a few ideas of what i could do that doesn't involve driving or anything. Thanks again.
Nice pictures Kristin. Sorry that you are lonely. You should call a friend over and make pictures with macaroni, glue, and a paper plate. Perhaps you could take up cycling. How about buying a goat and raising it? You could also help dad paint the basement. Hope that some of those suggestions help.
Kristin, you are the most honest and sincere person that I know! I love reading your blog posts.
I am sorry that you've been lonely. I feel that way too sometimes, but I am sure being the only one at home makes it lots worse. I always had a million people there to bug me.
I think you should get a puppy and train it and then sell it. Or maybe make a blanket for someone you like. You could also re-decorate your room. Fun!
I am sorry you are lonely. I get that way too, it stinks being the only one at home. I wish the train came all the way to Provo, then you could ride your bike to the train and hitch a ride down to come and see us on days you are really bored.
I think that you should go down in the basement and find all that cute material that you wanted to make a rag quilt out of and start making it. You can also make me some brownies and cookies and hitch a ride on the bus, or mail them to me. You can also make some sweet music videos to post on your blog, and don't forget to go over the calendar and check out the dates that you can come and stay over with us for real this time.
Hmm, when I get lonely I usually have about 30 great projects on the back burner I'd like to accomplish but what I end up doing is eating, staying up late and watching movies. I wouldn't recommend that.
It's trite but true that you always feel better when you help someone. You could take some breadsticks and go visit some elderly person in the ward. They would love that. Ask them about when they were your age.
Remember your "two-wheels." I imagine you could get most places on your bike.
If I were you, and lonely, I'd probably just sit around and eat breadsticks. This accomplishes two important tasks. First, it provides the nutrients you need as a growing adult, what with all the homework, instruments, chores, and just plain nagging you have to deal with, and second, it prevents the breadsticks from going stale. What could be more important than that? Stale breadsticks are the sign of a stagnant culture.

What about looking at this website
http://www.providentliving.org/content/display/0,11666,6392-1-3260-1,00.htm
which tells the current needs of the humanitarian center. The file-folder games would be fun to make.
The pattern for those is here:

Man, I wish you had come out with Dad. Then you and I could hang out and eat and watch movies, I mean be productive, while Dad and Brad and gone!
Good luck!
