Spencer has been bugging me to update my blog lately but there hasn't been much that i can update it about. Something exciting finally happened and now i can update my blog. Thursday after school mom checked me out to go to my violin lesson. We were going to be late because we had to go home to get my violin and I really wanted to get something to eat. So while mom was popping some popcorn I thought that I
would just go and back out the car. I have done this so many times that i wasn't being as careful as I usually am. So when I went to push the break I pushed the gas and I ran right into our basketball hoop. I heard it hit the basketball hoop then I saw it fall down. I was so shocked I just sat in the car for a minute and I couldn't think of what to do. Then I got out of the car and ran to tell mom. I don't know why but mom didn't really care. She just looked at it and said, " it's okay let's just go, let's just go." I didn't see dad until later that night and when I got home and asked him what he though he just started laughing. Then he told me that he was actually glad that I did it. I was so surprised i thought that he would be pretty mad. Then he told me that they were going to extend the drive way and they would've had to dig it out anyways. He was just glad that he didn't have to spend all the time diging it out, cause it I had knocked it down. So here are the results of what happened. I am kind of sad that the basketball hoop is gone though. I'll miss it!

Whoa Kristin! That's pretty funny. I'm glad that they weren't mad. I can imagine how scared you must have been. Which car were you driving? Did it scratch or dent it?
YAY!! that's an awesome post. and I want to know which car is was as well. tell me!! at least you don't have to pay. One time I broke the side mirror on the suburban and I had to pay the $215.00 to fix it. I have now learned to use my mirrors correctly.
sad! I've been working on my basketball skills with Chris! You'll have to come down here to play basketball now.
Oh, I'm so sorry. I bet that was a stressful few minutes. I'm glad Mom and Dad took it nice and mellow. I'll have to tell you my crash stories some day.
