Something kind of.. Icky..?
This last Sunday I really wanted to make something for a few neighbors so I decided on Banana bread. Mom had these frozen bananas that I was going to use and I needed a lot of them since I was doubling the recipe [which made way to many loaves!]. There was this one banana that was really frozen and it wouldn't smash! When I went to put it in the microwave I noticed that it looked kind of like a sausage, so I put it in the microwave and when I got it out I could see the steam coming off of it so I knew that it had to be hot. I started to smash it again and its mass was still the same. I finally got mom to come over and look at it. She pulled it out of the bowl and cut in half and this is what we got:
Here is what the banana mixture looked like with out the sausage good thing it was a rubbery one! ;)
p.s. mom did want to use it for a soup but I told her I would eat it.

That is so funny Kristin. I wish I was up there to have some tasty Banana Bread, I'd even take it with a little sausage.
Hilarious. Banana-sausage bread.
That is crazy.
Oh man! If I would have been there I would have realized it was a sausage in a minute. People like me who sit at computers all day long just have a sixth sense for that sort of thing. (sausage recognition.)
That was the best banana bread I've ever had.
