Side Explosion

This weekend I decided to head up to Caroline and Jeff's house to stay for a few days.  Caroline had bought some fireworks that we could light off tonight, and after a surprise visit from Lizzy (Hannah still hasn't stopped talking about how happy she is), and learning how to drive the Vespa we lit them off.  After a couple of small ones it was time for the Aerials.  One goes off, then another, next thing we know one flies towards us under Lizzy's car!  Our oo's and awes turned into shouts and piercing screams from the kiddos.  After laughing for five minutes we lighted another one. This time the kids were hiding in the garage-two little heads poking out.  Once again it the fireworks come out the side!  What a night to remember, great fireworks, refreshing scooter rides, kids falling asleep while being read stories and mosquito bites to prove it all.
